Songbird is Expanding with Downtown Cotati!

(COTATI, CA) Nov. 13, 2012, Songbird Community Healing Center closed escrow on the building across the street from their current location in Downtown Cotati.

Going into their third year, Songbird Community Healing Center is expanding! Their new facility will include a larger variety of special lectures, workshops, classes, and private session spaces for mainstream, alternative, and complementary physical, mental and spiritual health practitioners.

Jasmine Gold, Songbird Director, said that she is very excited about having this opportunity to custom design a much bigger space that will allow more people to experience the diverse healing modalities that the Songbird community offers. “We’re keeping ahead of the expanding economy by being better prepared to service our community.”

Songbird Community Healing Center’s practitioner list includes those with traditional Western training, plus those educated alternatively in areas such as yoga, Reiki energy healing, hypnotherapy, psychic & card readings, Feldenkrais, holistic nutrition, and sound healing. We offer a wide range of treatments to fit every need. There is a biweekly Hands Of Gold Healing Clinic where you can try mini-sessions with practitioners.

Songbird expects to open this January at their new location at 8297 Old Redwood Highway. The building, next to the creek, has been there for over 50 years. From 1980 through spring of this year, it was home to Rancho Bodega School, an alternative, private secondary school. Upstairs there is a long standing shop, Tattoos by J & D.
